Lee Bay Update - October 2025

Visible progress continues at Lee Bay, with activity across the site building steadily. The four houses are moving through their final phases of work, and the apartment block is evolving both externally and internally. A key highlight this month is the opening of our new Show Home, offering potential buyers a first real look at the finished quality and layout on offer.

The Show Home opens its doors

Plot 4 has now been prepared and dressed as the official Show Home for the development. Visitors are being welcomed to explore the space and get a feel for the design, layout, and coastal location. Feedback so far has been very encouraging, with many noting the quality of finishes and the peaceful setting. Our in-house sales team, alongside partners at Stags, is in ongoing discussions with a number of prospective buyers across both houses and apartments.

The houses at Lee Bay are well under way, with solar panels and moss roofs now in place. Interior works, including flooring and kitchen installations, are complete in the recently opened Show Home on the right.

Work continues across the houses

Plots 2 and 3 are progressing with kitchen installations, internal joinery, and external works such as paving and topsoiling. Utility meters have been installed across the homes, and internal mechanical systems are being prepared for testing. Sheds have been built and cladded across several plots, adding practical value to the homes.

The Apartments of Lee Bay
The apartments at Lee Bay are now fully scaffolded. Back in February, excavation works were still underway. Today, the builders have started tiling the roofs

Apartments progressing floor by floor

The apartment building continues to develop on multiple fronts. The roof structure has been installed and ply boarding is progressing across key sections. Block and beam construction has started at the rear, while tiling has begun on some of the roof slopes. Internally, first fix works are moving through the ground and first floors, including ducting and metal stud partitions. Scaffold adjustments have been made to allow new phases of roof and dormer installation to begin.

Supporting works across the site

Activity has continued across the wider site, including the bin store and car park areas. A further section of the former hotel building has now been removed following structural review. Groundworks around the apartment block are progressing in preparation for future drainage and slab installation, while utility connections and plant room services are also advancing in the background.

What’s to come

Over the coming weeks, the focus remains on finalising the internal works across the houses and continuing the structural and envelope works to the apartments. External landscaping is due to begin, with a specialist contractor now in place. With the Show Home now open and early buyer interest being actively followed up, Lee Bay continues to move forward.
