Letter from Julian Hampson our Design Director & Sustainability Ambassador

Our ‘Different by Design’ philosophy is driven by the particulars of the site, but always coupled with designing homes filled with light and space. We love seeing new communities form where new residents come together and celebrate their new surroundings in shared open space.

We want the local community to benefit from the improvements and positive contribution we make to the surrounding area. We envision our buyers to be dining out on their sun-soaked terraces inhaling that fresh sea air at many of our coastal schemes.

Whatever the project we are always determined to make the most of the opportunity and create vibrant, sustainable, and enjoyable places to live and work. Where we can, we will re-purpose old buildings which is both sustainable and also gives developments a grounding in their locality, a link to the collective heritage of the place.

Our projects at Porthcawl, Brandon Yard and Brunel House in Bristol are great examples of how the historic building stock of the UK can have a new life breathed in and bring a joy to the local community. Whatever the project we always strive to make it the best it can be, to create a legacy that lives through future generations.

Our mission statement

Sustainability at Acorn

Investing in projects with Acorn Property Invest do more than allow investors to diversify their portfolios and buy into the vibrant UK property market. Their investment will help fund the build of bespoke, sustainable new developments.

Creating sustainable new homes and buildings is at the heart of what we do. Our new build homes are energy efficiency rated EPC A&B and can save homeowners an average of over £2,600 a year in running costs* compared to an older property. Our developments are designed to enhance local communities, nurture local habitats, and create an environment that supports future generations.

Acorn Property Group is at the forefront of sustainable development, from using energy-efficient materials, carbon offsetting and increasing biodiversity to incorporating electric vehicle (EV) charging points, photovoltaic (PV) panels, air/ground source heat pumps, and bee-friendly landscaping.
