Gatcombe Orchard - Construction Snapshot: August 2025
The summer has brought steady progress at Gatcombe Orchard, with activity across both the first homes and the later phases. Kitchens and decoration are now being fitted in the early plots, while further into the site the structures are rising with new roofs and trusses. Step by step, the development is taking shape.
Home interiors and finishes advancing
The first plots are well advanced. Kitchens are already installed in several homes, with painting, plastering and interior fittings underway. One of the early houses has now been handed over to sales, while others are moving through snagging and decoration. Across Plots 6–8, internal works such as carpentry, painting and services are making good headway, and further plots are close behind.
Later phases: Structures rising, detail emerging
Further into the development, kitchens have also been fitted in Plots 16 and 17, with decoration to follow. Additional homes are moving forward with their first stages of internal works, while the newest plots are being roofed and fitted with trusses and joists. At the same time, groundworks and external shaping continue around the courtyard and site roads, preparing the way for the next stages.
