Crooklets Reach - Construction Snapshot: October 2025
Activity at Crooklets Reach is focused on pre-construction, with preparations underway to start building the first two homes (Plots 1 and 2) in January. These two houses form Phase 1 of the scheme, with Phase 2 to follow at a later stage.
Design and Planning Refinements
Three planning amendments have now been approved, allowing for a more efficient build across the whole site. These updates include changes to garden levels, reduced retaining structures, and adjustments to internal layouts. Value engineering has helped optimise materials and space, including the removal of expensive external terraces and an oversized stair core, without compromising quality.
Phase 1 Tender and Build Partner
A formal quote, or tender, has been received from a local, highly experienced contractor who has a strong team in the area and a track record of delivering high-specification homes. With instruction of the design team now underway, the development is on course to move into its construction phase early in the new year.
