Drylining, M&E and infrastructure
Internal drylining is well underway across the main building, with mechanical and electrical installation to the apartments now commenced. In the basement, the plant room is advancing with boilers installed and the water tank under construction. Service trenches are ongoing externally to facilitate incoming water, gas and power connections, while external drainage is nearing completion. A new standing seam roof has also been installed over an existing flat roof, resolving one of the key external elements of the conversion.
Plasterboard corridors give way to a finished zinc roofline, a resurfaced approach drive, and a move-in-ready kitchen, marking the shift from fit-out to completion.
Lift shaft and show apartment
The lift pit to Core 2 has been constructed, with the steel frame to the lift shaft due to commence shortly. On the ground floor, the show apartment is well underway. As internal partitions progress across the building, the individual character of each apartment is becoming increasingly apparent, with ceiling heights, window proportions and outlooks varying considerably from one home to the next.
Stud walls, foil-taped windows, a cleared undercroft, and a stair opening behind barriers track the raw structural fit-out across both Caerleon sites.
Sales momentum
Since opening earlier this year, the Sales Suite has been drawing consistent interest. The applicant database continues to grow and a number of purchasers are progressing through the sales journey at various stages. Interest spans a broad demographic, reflecting the range of apartment types available across this distinctive conversion.
