Gannel Waterside - Construction Snapshot: April 2026
Above Ground
The reinforced concrete frame for houses 23 and 24 is now complete, marking a clear structural milestone for the first pair of homes on site. Masonry has started, with blockwork rising from the completed frame. Scaffolding is being erected to support the next phase of works as the buildings continue to gain height.
Gaining Ground
The second pair of houses is following closely behind. Ground preparation, drainage and blinding were completed in March, and structural floor slab works are now underway. The lower level slab is progressing well, with shear walls and columns to follow as the frame begins to climb.

Level by Level
The apartment block is making strong progress up through the levels. The B1 structural slab is complete, and the shear walls and columns connecting B1 to ground level are also done. The ground floor structural slab is now being fabricated, with the frame set to continue rising through the upper levels in the weeks ahead. Tanking and insulation to the lower level are also well advanced.
What's to Come
With four house plots now in active structural construction and the apartment frame advancing level by level, the pace of visible progress at Gannel Waterside is accelerating. The coming period will see the apartment block reach the upper floors while the first houses move into their external envelope.
