Gannel Waterside - Construction Snapshot: November 2025

Groundworks and drainage taking shape
The past weeks have seen a clear push forward on excavation and substructure works. Rock encountered during digging has been systematically broken out, allowing drainage runs to continue across the development. On the western boundary, construction of the concrete and block retaining wall has progressed steadily. In particular, plots 23 and 24, two of the new-build homes, have been brought up to level with hardcore fill to create a stable base.

Crane installation and apartment progress
As pictured below, the tower crane has now been installed, marking a significant step forward on site. Its arrival paves the way for reinforced concrete works to begin on the apartment blocks. Meanwhile, several columns and foundation walls are already in place across the grid, forming the backbone of what will become the development’s primary structures.

The stunning location between the sea and the river is clearly visible, with the newly installed crane now standing tall at the heart of the site.
