St Leonards Quarter - Construction Snapshot: February 2026

Steady progress across multiple phases

Construction at St Leonards Quarter continues to move forward across the entire site. Many apartments in East Court are already occupied, while later phases are now reaching a point where several parts of the development are being built out at the same time. Activity on upper floors, roofing elements, and internal services is visible across multiple areas, giving a clearer sense of the scale and maturity of the scheme as it moves into the new year.

Upper floors and masonry continue to rise across the later phases at St Leonards Quarter, with roofing and internal works advancing steadily behind the scaffolded elevations.

From structure to protection

Most of the houses in the last phase have now progressed through several masonry stages, meaning their structures are firmly established above ground. Alongside this, roofing and parapet works are underway on earlier plots, helping to weatherproof the buildings. This is an important step, as it allows internal work to continue in a more controlled environment and reduces exposure to the elements. It also marks the shift from core structural build to a more advanced phase of construction.

Inside the apartment buildings

Within the apartment blocks, progress is being made both structurally and internally. Upper-floor planks are being installed, forming the base for the levels above, while first-fix mechanical and electrical works continue inside. These first-fix installations include the core services such as electrics, plumbing, and ventilation, which are put in place before walls are closed up. External cladding is also progressing on selected plots, beginning to define the final appearance of the buildings.
