Hensol Grove - Construction Snapshot: September 2025

Steady progress continues at Hensol Grove, with structural activity advancing across the homes in the first phase, The Mews. Groundworks, piling, and superstructures phases are now well underway, and preparations for the Phase 1 sales launch are also progressing in parallel. Early interest from buyers is already translating into reservations, reflecting confidence in the development.

Momentum building on the main plots

Plot 10 has reached its first lift, with scaffold booked to support the next stage of vertical construction. Nearby, Plots 1 to 4 have achieved a key milestone with all retaining walls now poured following a week of shuttering, forming, and concrete works. Further along the site, Plots 8 and 9 are progressing through foundation prep, including reinforcement cage forming and pile cropping, laying the groundwork for the superstructures to follow.

In recent months, piling was completed, as shown here. Since then, the first walls have begun to take shape.

Foundation & Retaining Walls

At The Mews, foundations are now complete following a carefully executed piling programme that protected a nearby listed stone wall. The team has since focused on forming 3 metre high reinforced concrete retaining walls to the rear of the properties, which remain on track for completion this month. Once these are in place, slab construction and masonry works to the façades will begin, marking a new milestone for this part of the site.

Early-stage construction activity continues across multiple areas of the site, with groundworks, retaining structures, and initial blockwork all visibly progressing.
