Fairford Green - Construction Snapshot: November 2025

New Homes Takes Shape
On Phase 1, the new build houses are now showing strong signs of progress both inside and out. Service trenches have been pulled, and key connections such as gas and electricity mains have already been laid, with the water main expected shortly. This will allow road and pavement works to begin. Internally, several plots are in far advanced stages: Plots 1 to 4 are undergoing final finishes, Plots 5 to 8 are in the midst of decoration and kitchen installations, while carpentry is underway on Plots 9 to 12. Further down the line, electricians and plumbers are actively fitting out Plots 13 to 17.

A snapshot across site shows steady build activity, with several houses undergoing final finishes.
Heritage Elements and Cottages Advancing
At Coln House (Phase 2), external restoration has progressed well with façade cleaning and brickwork repointing now complete. Window refurbishments have started on the front elevation, while footings and slab work for two planned extensions are advancing steadily. Inside, the structure has been levelled throughout, with new stairwells formed and stud walls underway. Meanwhile, activity has also resumed at the cottages (Phase 4), where initial strip-out and demolition works have begun, marking the first steps in their sensitive refurbishment.

The external restoration of Coln House is progressing well while internally the structure has been levelled throughout.
